Emergency Tree Surgeon in Stalham & the Norfolk Broads
Tree down on a road, driveway or building? A dangerous hanging branch after a storm? We provide a 24-hour emergency tree surgery call-out across Stalham and the Norfolk Broads — making the situation safe first, then clearing the debris.
When to call us urgently
Call us straight away if a tree or large branch has fallen and is blocking a road, lane or driveway, resting on a fence, shed, garage or house, or has brought down a power or telephone line.
Also call if a damaged tree is left leaning dangerously, a split trunk or cracked limb could drop, or a tree is hanging over a path or parking area after high winds. Even if it hasn't fallen yet, a tree that's moved in the ground or developed a sudden lean should be checked quickly.
If there's a risk to life or live cables are involved, call the emergency services and your electricity network operator first, then us.

What we do on an emergency call-out
We'll ask a few quick questions on the phone to judge the urgency and reach you as fast as we can. On arrival we assess the tree and surroundings, isolate the area and make the situation safe — removing any part that's hanging or unstable, and working around cables, buildings and vehicles.
Once the danger is removed we cut up and clear the timber and debris, then discuss any follow-up work, such as removing the rest of the tree, grinding a stump, or checking neighbouring trees for storm damage.

Emergency questions
How quickly can you get to me?
We aim to be with you as quickly as possible and prioritise genuine danger. Call us and we'll give you an honest arrival time based on where we are and road conditions.
Do you work at night?
Yes — the 24-hour call-out covers evenings, nights and weekends. Some jobs are safer finished in daylight, but we'll make the tree safe on arrival either way.
Do I need to move my car or keep clear?
Please keep everyone well away from the tree and any cables. If it's safe to move vehicles or belongings out of the way, do so — but never put yourself at risk.
Will insurance cover it?
That depends on your policy. We're happy to provide photos, a written report and a clear invoice you can submit to your insurer.
